pros: clean mouth
cons: takes too long
pros: prevents gingivitis or one of those dental issues
cons: the floss cuts off the circulation in my fingers as i try and use it
pros: i hear it adds years to your life (by helping prevent heart disease)
cons: now that i have been flossing, there is more space between my teeth and so more food gets stuck in my gums. which then, makes me have to floss more.

pros: i'm out of ideas
cons: one more toiletry item to buy and then watch as little son unravels the entire box (just like the toilet paper, and the kleenex box, and the diaper wipes)
pros: still out of ideas
cons: not recyclable. and i bet it's like those soda can plastic 6pack holders...if they blow out of our landfills into the sea, they strangle the ducks, fish, dolphins, otters, sealions, wildlife.
pros: [crickets]
cons: if we were meant to floss, we would have been given flip top mouths. is it just my mouth not being big enough or does it hurt everyone to keep it open that wide, that long.

My kids like to suck the floss. Need to stop getting the mint kind I guess...
